Sea Duck Cottages are located in Jonesport, Maine. We are in the northeast part of Maine commonly called “Downeast” Maine.
Yes! We are steps away from a long sandy beach that is extremely private and Sea Duck Cottage is the only property with stairs/access to the beach. So private, easy access.
Very mild and cool. July and August might see 78 for about an hour..but typically no warmer than that during the day. And very cool at night…its WONDERFUL during the summer.
Comfortable, layers and light! Sea Duck Cottage provides all the linens, towels you will need. We do have a washer and dryer in both homes…along with detergent!
We accept pets (dogs) at Sea Duck Cottage. Please review the important information about bringing pets to Sea Duck Cottage (never leave them uncrated in the house alone, not allowed on furniture or beds, pick up after your dog). We must charge a fee ($100) since our cleaners must do some extra cleaning due to allergies of our guests.
Call us. We are a residential property and Jonesport is rural, so we are not equipped for events.
Trust us (owners from Texas/Florida) – not needed! We do have a minisplit in both homes. Main house: sunroom and the guest house downstairs and upstairs bedroom. But trust me, open the windows (screened) feel that ocean breeze and you will be more than comfortable..even cold.
Sea Duck Cottage consists of 2 homes plus a loft (studio). The Main House has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (king, queen, queen)
The Guest House has 2 bedrooms (king, queen) and 2 bathrooms.
The Loft is a couch that pulls out (no mattress) but we do have an air mattress pad and a full bathroom.
